Beautiful sunshine, beautiful flowers

The sun was shining again this morning, and I had a few moments to myself again to take some photos of flowers in the garden.   Here are the results!
For info:
I was in Aperture Priority mode (Av).  Set to F11, with the white balance set to shade, as it was a bit cloudy.  I was also using a reflector/diffuser where appropriate.   I was also using a macro extension tube, just to be able to get closer images.

The above photo is a close up of a Lavendar flower, with a peachy rose in the distant creating the colourful hue behind it.

I’m quite pleased with the rose above.  The spiral leading into the centre makes me happy!   I used my mini reflector (as I only own a small one!) to reflect some light back onto the rose, as it was shaded by the shed.

I rather love the vibrant colours of this rose, on it’s first day in bloom.  I used the diffuser for this shot, as the direct sunlight created some rather harsh shadows.

And finally, a juicy Strawberry ready to eat.  Again, this used the reflector to shine a bit of light back onto the fruit.
